Sencha is the most esquisite and popular green tea in Japan. It is characterized by its vibrant green color, vegetal aroma, subtle sweetness, and full-bodied mouthfeel. Our Sencha undergoes a partial shading process before harvest -  a traditional technique used in Japan to create balanced (sweet and savory) high-quality green teas. The shading enhances the presence of umami as well as a heightened sweetness due to increased amino acid content.
